Manage an Existing Grant 

Current Fogarty grantees can access the following resources to help with management of their grants.

  • Noncompeting Progress Report Information
    • eSNAP - If your Notice of Award indicates that your award is eligible for the Streamlined Non-Competing Award Process (SNAP) you are required to submit your annual progress reports electronically via eRA Commons. The eSNAP progress report is due no later than 45 days before the next budget start date.
    • Non-SNAP - If your Notice of Award indicates that your award is excluded from the Streamlined Non-Competing Award Process (non-SNAP) you should submit your annual progress reports via hardcopy to the NIH centralized mailing address. The non-SNAP progress report is due no later than 60 days before the next budget start date.
    • Progress Reports for Fogarty Research Training Grants - Includes supplemental information to help Fogarty grantees prepare progress reports for Fogarty research training grants.
  • Changes in Scope on NIH Grants or Cooperative Agreements - Information on how to change the scope of research on an awarded NIH grant or cooperative agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, questions about rebudgeting and changing key personnel.
  • Summary of Actions Requiring NIH Prior Approval - View examples of activities that may require prior approval by NIH staff before NIH funds may be used.
  • Reporting and Record Retention Guidance for NIH Grantees
  • Closeout - Lists the final reports required when an award ends.
  • eRA Commons Information - All applicants should be registered in Commons to check summary statements, receive Notices of Award and file Federal Financial Reports. Applicants can complete Online Registration for eRA Commons.
