Directory of Grants and Fellowships in the Global Health Sciences
Short-Term Travel Grants
This special addendum to the Directory of Grants and Fellowships in the Global Health Sciences contains information on nearly 100 additional funding opportunities that support travel for the purpose of research or training. Opportunities span every nation of the world and range in duration from a few days to a year or more. It does not include grants offered for the purpose of attending a single specific conference due to the limited audience for such information.

The following grants are offered in all of these areas, unless otherwise noted. This listing does not include all Trust opportunities – due to the large number of Trust grants, only those most relevant to global health or those open to researchers around the world are included. Residents of the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) or their potential collaborators are encouraged to visit the Wellcome Trust Web site to view the full list of grants available. Candidates may not apply for more than one Wellcome Trust fellowship at any one time.
