The
Chronic, Noncommunicable Diseases and Disorders Across the Lifespan: Fogarty International Research Training Award program supports collaborative research training to sustainably strengthen the research capacity of low- and middle-income country institutions, and to train in-country experts to conduct research on chronic, noncommunicable diseases and disorders. NIH components joining with Fogarty to support the program include the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH). The NIH Office of Disease Prevention (ODP) and NIH Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH) may co-fund applications. See the
