  • UAE-NIH Collaborative Awards 2023: CRDF Global is accepting proposals from joint United Arab Emirates (UAE) and U.S. based investigators working in the field of infectious disease and immunology research.
    Abstract submission deadline: December 2, 2022
  • U.S. NIH – PCHRD Collaborative Research Call for Tuberculosis (CoRe TB) invites researchers to submit concept proposals. This initiative will provide a maximum of three years of funding to support six high-quality collaborative research projects focused on research in TB and related coinfections and comorbidities, to address TB research needs.
    Concept proposal deadline: December 7, 2022

Training Opportunities

  • Ethical and Regulatory Aspects of Clinical Research from the Department of Bioethics at the NIH Clinical Center will be offered September 21–November 9, 2022. The course is free and readily accessible to the non-medically trained as well as to those in the field of scientific research. Nursing CEUs are offered.
  • Raising a Resilient Scientist Series starts Nov. 9: The NIH Office of Intramural Training & Education (OITE) is offering a five-unit series covering communication, resilience, inclusivity, conflict and feedback, and trainee wellbeing to help extramural PIs support biomedical trainees.
