Project Description

This ICREATE (Injury Capacity in Research in EAsTern Europe) project expands successful capacity building in injury and violence research and education in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova. Training is led by a strong collaborative team at the University of Iowa in the United States and the University of Babes-Bolyai in Romania. This partnership has implemented injury core curricula in public health degree programs and established research in our focus areas of road traffic injury, violence against women and children, and will improve acute injury treatment, and we expand to examine alcohol as a risk for injury and implementation science.
