Fogarty hosted the meeting Fogarty Research-Training Programs on HIV/AIDS and TB: Planning for the Future immediately before the AIDS2010 conference in Vienna, Austria. The open meeting brought AIDS2010 delegates affiliated with Fogarty research and research training programs together to:

  • provide an opportunity to highlight research-training grant-supported research being presented as posters by current or recent trainees and to provide these trainees with opportunity for an oral presentation, and
  • provide an opportunity to obtain additional feedback on the organization and configuration of Fogarty HIV-related research-training programs.
