Project Description

This program will establish the first blended Masters and Postgraduate Diploma training in bioethics in Kenya at 2 local universities. The program will also build capacity of both Kenya and Pakistan-based faculty to support these graduate-level training programs by offering focused trainings in bioethics pedagogy, mentoring, and scientific writing including grantsmanship and manuscript development. Rapid capacity building initiatives will involve training stakeholders from both countries in basic and emerging issues in research and public health ethics through workshops and certificate courses, with a focus on enhancing human subject protection, especially in resource-limited settings.
