Project Description

The capacity-building training program is expected to have far-reaching effects on strengthening ethical research in Pakistan. There is tremendous potential of the training imparted during this program to translate into improvement of the research culture towards greater respect for participants and communities engaged in research. The aim of research ethics is to protect and respect participants, make them partners in the research ventures, and ensure equity and accessibility in sharing of research benefits; this project will be a step in that direction.
