Project Description

The overall goal of this project is to provide advanced training to equip Dr. Adedeji Waheed A (a physician/scientist) with skills and competencies in clinical trials, population pharmacokinetics, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics modeling, and pharmacogenomics. These skills will equip Dr. Adedeji to establish a research career in HIV clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics. The burden of HIV/AIDS is of global health concern, and Nigeria has the third largest burden of the disease in the world but lacks research capacity in HIV clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics.
