Project Description

Older adults living with HIV (OALWH) with hypertension  (HTN) have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD)  morbidity and mortality due to suboptimal adherence to HTN medication. There is a critical need to develop interventions that promote patient-centeredness, improves HTN medication adherence, and reduce CVD risks. This project will design, pilot, and evaluate a community-based medication adherence support for OALWH with HTN.
