Project Description

The objective of this training program is to increase research into the detection, prevention, and treatment of drug-resistant infections in West Africa, and expand knowledge and skills in clinical microbiology. The program involves providing a rigorous Ph.D. student training, and offering tailored training to junior scientists and faculty from West Africa, in antimicrobial resistance. The major outcome will be a significant increase in antimicrobial resistance research capacity in the West African region.
