Project Description
This project addresses the unmet need for tailored guidelines to manage genital infections and for accessible sexual and reproductive health care, among Syrian refugee women, who constitute the world's largest forcibly displaced female population. By quantifying and characterizing drivers of recurrent genital infections, we seek to develop contextualized prevention and management tools to be incorporated into an adapted and evidence-based sexual health intervention for rural-dwelling refugee women in Lebanon.
