Project Description

Young cisgender women (YCW) in Kenya are affected by HIV at a disproportionate rate. This project will develop, pre-test, and pilot test an ethnodrama intervention designed to transform community member beliefs about and foster support of YCW using PrEP, thereby reducing enacted, anticipated, and internalized stigma. This project will also aim to create a supportive environment where young women’s PrEP use is normalized, rather than stigmatized.
