Staff Assistant

The John E. Fogarty International Center (FIC) of the National Institutes of Health is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Staff Assistant (MP GS-0301-9/12) to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Center Director. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and dependable, with excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, attention to detail, and a positive "can do" attitude, and enjoys the occasional challenge.

Candidates must be current or former federal employees eligible to apply under merit promotion procedures or otherwise be eligible as a status applicant (e.g., Veterans Employment Opportunity Act) or be an individual who is eligible through an Office of Personnel Management  OPM) interchange agreement or for a non-competitive appointment (i.e., individuals with disabilities, military spouses, Peace Corps & AmeriCorps Vista). The vacancy is only open to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Nationals. Foreign nationals or legal permanent residents are not eligible for consideration.
