Register for the 2024 Barmes Global Health Lecture, June 5
The Fogarty International Center and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) present the 2024 David E. Barmes Global Health Lecture 2024: “Global HIV/AIDS Response: Then, Now, Future,” by Ambassador John Nkengasong, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, June 5 at 1 p.m. ET (USA) on the NIH campus and virtually.

Join the National Institute on Aging (NIA) for a live webinar to answer your questions in applying to the Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): U.S. Health in the International Perspective. NIH Updates NIH "FORMS-I" Grant Application Forms and Instructions
NIH recently made changes to grant application forms and application guide instructions for due dates on or after January 25, 2025. These changes will be implemented with application form packages identified with a Competition ID of "FORMS-I" and associated application guide instructions. Additional guidance and confirmation of implementation plans will be provided in fall 2024.

The HIV Research for Prevention Conference is accepting scholarship submissions for HIVR4P 2024, the 5th HIV Research for Prevention Conference. Applicants must be working, volunteering or studying in the area of HIV prevention and require support to attend HIVR4P 2024.

Cures Within Reach has released a new request for proposal (RFP) for projects in any unsolved disease and must repurpose an existing off-patent drug, off-patent device, nutraceutical and/or indigenous medicine in a new indication.
Letters of intent due: April 26, 2024 - The Clinical Group of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) would like to invite clinicians from low and low-middle income countries to apply for a travel award to attend the ASTMH Annual Meeting. The travel award will include complimentary registration for the meeting as well as $2,500 US to cover airfare (economy/coach class), lodging and meals for one person.

- The
Sapporo Exposome Symposium in Sapporo Japan, will bring together leading scientists and trainees from throughout Asia and the United States to share research findings, discuss translational interventions and policies needed to reduce the effects of the environment on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The symposium is also offering an opportunity for travel funding for LMIC researchers up to $1800 US dollars.
