The Lancet Commission on Evidence-Based Implementation in Global Health is seeking your insights to help close the gap from evidence to implementation. Answers can be anonymous and there is no requirement to provide identifying information.
NCI seeks applications for projects in LMIC settings
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Center for Global Health (CGH) seeks Career Development Award applications from early career scientists conducting global cancer research. They welcome proposals for mentored research in LMICs and applications from established investigators focused on global cancer research education in LMICs. Areas of interest include cancer biology, epidemiology, prevention, clinical and translational research, implementation science, health systems, disparities, surveillance, informatics, integrative oncology, survivorship, and technology-driven cancer control solutions.

research teams based in Thailand, Indonesia and Fiji to act as Doing Research (DR) national correspondents interested in implementing Doing Research Assessments (DRA) in their respective countries, starting in early 2025.

CARB-X's funding solicitation for products that address drug-resistant bacterial infections will be open from September 23 to October 4, 2024.Applications will be accepted for: therapeutics for infections caused by Gram-negative pathogens, prevention for invasive disease, diagnostics for neonatal sepsis, and proof-of-concept for novel sample types for diagnosing lower-respiratory-tract infections.

Training Opportunities
NIH to host course on ethical and regulatory aspects of clinical research
This course is offered to anyone interested or involved in the ethics of clinical research with human subjects. Participants represent multiple disciplines including research teams, IRB members, physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, administrative staff, students, and others. The course meets Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET (USA) from September 25 to November 6, 2024.
