- The
AACR-Mark Foundation Chemistry in Cancer Research Grants support chemists to pursue impactful research in the field of cancer. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, be an independent investigator working at an academic, medical, or non-profit research institution, and be AACR members. There are no geographical or citizenship requirements, but the applicant must have the legal right to work in the country of their research institution for the duration of the Award. Open to applicants worldwide.
Letters of intent deadline: December 16, 2025 - The
AACR-Think Forward Foundation Career Development Award supports early-career researchers to pursue impactful research focused on advancing precision medicine in breast cancer treatment. At the start of the Award term on July 1, 2026, the recipient must hold the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world and have started their first independent faculty position within the past 6 years from the grant start date. There are no geographical or citizenship requirements, but the applicant must have the legal right to work in the country of their research institution for the duration of the Award. Open to applicants worldwide.
Application deadline: December 18, 2025 - The
Division 49 Richard Moreland Dissertation of the Year Award from the American Psychological Foundation (APF) recognizes a current dissertation work on group phenomenon, using any methodology to investigate any type of group. For the 2025 award, the dissertation must have been defended in 2025. The awardee receives a $1,000 award, a plaque, and a three-year membership in Division 49. Open to applicants worldwide.

Routh Dissertation Grant from the American Psychological Association (APA) supports students to conduct research that shows promise to add significantly to the literature in the area of clinical child and adolescent psychology. The grant provides up to US$2,500. Up to 4 grants will be awarded. Open to applicants worldwide.
Application deadline: January 5, 2026 - The
Division 53 Student Achievement Award is presented by the Student Development Committee of the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (Division 53 of the American Psychological Association). The Award recognizes students for contributions to the field of clinical child and adolescent psychology, primarily through a research project but also through teaching, mentoring, clinical work, and other forms of community engagement. Open to applicants worldwide.
Application deadline: January 5, 2026 - The
Lustgarten Foundation Innovation & Collaboration Program provides seed funding for highly innovative research with significant potential to accelerate scientific and medical research related to pancreatic cancer. Preliminary data are not required in the proposal. Proposals that involve collaborations across groups or that bring new expertise and/or technology into the field will be preferred. Open to applicants worldwide.

Abidin Early Career Award and Grant from the American Psychological Association (APA) aims to recognize and extend the work of an early career psychologist in psychopathology, prevention, assessment, treatment, or public policy related to child and adolescent development or mental health. Taking Flight Award from CURE Epilepsy seeks to promote the careers of early-career investigators to allow them to develop an independent research focus. Researchers may propose basic or clinical studies. Research that involves collaboration and a multidisciplinary approach is desirable. Studies that provide new directions for epilepsy therapy, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure, and that allow applicants to collect the data necessary to support a grant application to the National Institutes of Health or a similar granting agency are encouraged. Establishing immune tolerance in islet cell replacement therapy for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research funding from the Breakthrough T1D foundation supports the development of tolerance induction approaches for islet cell therapy that enable graft-specific immune protection without compromising natural immune defenses. This call is open to both central and peripheral tolerance induction strategies, with priority given to technologies closest to clinical translation. Open to applicants worldwide.

Dementia Frontiers Fund by Alzheimer’s Research UK supports bold, high-impact research addressing urgent challenges in dementia. Expression of intent deadline: January 7, 2026 - The
CRI IGNITE Award from the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) -- Inspiring Growth and Nurturing Independence Through Excellence -- supports the transition of outstanding postdoctoral researchers into independent tenure-track investigators. The IGNITE Award supports early-career researchers by combining CRI funding with institutional co-investment in resources such as lab space, research time, and mentorship to ensure long-term career success.
