Project Description
This project will investigate the impact of tick seasonal activity patterns on populations of human pathogens carried by black-legged ticks. Different seasonal activity patterns may cause dramatic changes in parasite populations including population extinctions or explosions. The research provides the framework to investigate the impact of seasonal activity on the multitude of disease systems involving multiple host species.
