Project Description
Substance use disorders (SUDs) are a significant global public health challenge, yet evidence-based interventions such as Screening and Brief Intervention (SBI) are underutilized, particularly in low- and middle-income countries like Georgia. This project aims to identify and address the barriers to implementing SBI in rural primary care settings by piloting a digital continuing medical education intervention tailored for the local context. By identifying and overcoming the implementation gaps, this project ultimately seeks to improve health outcomes in underserved populations and provide scalable solutions for integrating addiction services into primary care globally.
