Project Description

The training program builds on the previous work in the region and is designed to enhance capacity to carry out research and provide data useful to policy makers. The partners of this program at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UCPH) in Lima will submit the linked research application, which is titled ‘1/2 – Regional GEOHealth Hub centered in Peru - Peru’, with projects in the area of air pollution and health outcomes. The training activities are directly relevant to the research projects and will provide research training opportunities to strengthen the capacity of Peru and neighboring countries to conduct environmental and occupational health research.
