Project Description

Fostering Liberian researchers will allow the country to more readily combat novel infectious diseases outbreaks through discovery of appropriate timely science. By creating a program which provides a basic background in research through bootcamps in Liberia and then trains a small number of qualified participants who will pursue an advanced degree in related scientific field at Boston University, the “Boston University- University of Liberia Emerging Epidemic Viruses Research” (BULEEVR) program will create human resources critical to building research capacity in Liberia.
