Project Description
Sub Saharan Africa faces a disproportionally large number of children infected HIV with a significant burden of morbidity and mortality in the first year of life. Genomics and bioinformatics offers an opportunity to develop novel strategic for control of the epidemic. Consequently, HIV research training in genomics and bioinformatics is warranted to increase high impact HIV research capacity in Uganda.
