The Microbiology and Immunology Training for HIV and HIV-Related Research in Uganda (MITHU) program builds on a 32-year training record of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) with partners at Makerere University (MU). This competing renewal of the MITHU program provides biomedical training in molecular microbiology and immunology at the masters level at MU and as a Sandwich Ph.D. level between MU and CWRU.
