Project Description

Open cranial surgery is a lifesaving intervention that can improve survival and outcomes for those suffering from moderate to severe forms of traumatic brain injury. There is an implementation gap in low- and middle- income countries that results in worsening disability and mortality. This project has significant public health implications and will apply implementation science methodologies to improve timing to surgery.
