Project Description
As of 2023, Indonesia ranks 20th worldwide in the number of people living with HIV (PLH), with close to 0.6 million of its population currently living with HIV and remains as one of Asia's fastest-growing HIV epidemics, second only to India and China. The majority of Indonesians living with HIV are lost to follow-up in HIV care. The purpose of this study is to culturally adapt a stigma-reduction intervention to prevent treatment disengagement among Indonesians living with HIV and evaluate its feasibility, acceptability, and primary efficacy.
