Project Description
The goal of the United States-Zambia Trauma and Injury Research Training Program is to strengthen research capacity on the health, social, and economic impact of trauma and injuries across the lifespan in Zambia through an innovative model of sustainable capacity development. The program aims to develop a core group of researchers focused on trauma and injuries (T&Is) in Zambia; promote research on key national priorities for T&Is in Zambia; and further strengthen sustainability and the research environment in Zambia by establishing a center to support T&I research in the future.
