		            Applicants must:
- Be Korean citizens.
 - Have received their doctoral degree from a university in the Republic of Korea (ROK). Those who acquired their doctoral degree outside of ROK cannot participate in the program.
 - Upon arriving at NIH, have obtained a doctoral degree, equivalent to a Ph.D., within the previous five years as of March 1, 2023 (i.e., March 1, 2018–March 2023).
 - Meet eligibility requirements for 
      NIH's Intramural Visiting Fellow Program (VFP). 
 
	            
	            Program Overview
	            The Korean Biomedical Scientist Fellowship Program (KBSFP), supported by the 
   Korean Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB) of the 
   Korea Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT), in cooperation with NIH, offers fellowship awards to support biomedical and behavioral research projects with potential commercialization by early-stage Korean postdoctoral researchers at NIH laboratories.
Research projects may support all fields of biomedical and behavioral research at NIH.
