Symposium: May 1, 2018

Fogarty will hold a 50th anniversary symposium, "What are the new frontiers in global health research?" on May 1, 2018, on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The event will be webcast live by NIH Videocasting, and recorded for future viewing.

Book: Fogarty at 50: Advancing science for global health since 1968

The book Fogarty at 50: Advancing science for global health since 1968 takes readers through our history: our founding in honor of Congressman John E. Fogarty; the HIV/AIDS crisis that shifted our focus to building research capacity in low- and middle-income countries; specific examples of our scientific accomplishments across research areas; and viewpoints from our fellows, trainees, grantees and partners.
