Division of International Science Policy, Planning and Evaluation (DISPPE)

The Division of International Science Policy, Planning and Evaluation (DISPPE) provides strategic information and guidance to Fogarty leadership regarding the planning and evaluation of the Center's programmatic investments. The Division advises Fogarty on matters of international science policy, relevant legislation, and conducts analyses that inform current and future priorities for Fogarty. To this end, DISPPE also monitors and analyzes key trends in global health and activities of other international funding agencies.

DISPPE's strategic guidance efforts are supported by its Center for Global Health Studies (CGHS) program. CGHS identifies and explores critical global health challenges of relevance to Fogarty and other NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices, which informs NIH investments in global health research and research training.
