ISPN to host Catalytic Grant Fund Webinar
The International Pathogen Surveillance Network (IPSN) and UN Foundation will host an informational webinar on March 5, 2024 at 10am and 5pm CET, to address questions regarding application submissions for the Catalytic Grant Fund. The fund is housed by the UN Foundation on behalf of ISPN. Grant funding is available for IPSN members from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

USAID Science for Development Fellowships application is now open. The fellowship is a two-year experiential professional development opportunity for American scientists and engineers to work at USAID and apply their expertise and research skills to inform the U.S. government’s international development activities.
Application deadline: February 29, 2024 - The Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) has launched their
Climate Health Innovation Equity Fund (CHIEF) Call for Innovators aimed at identifying and showcasing 20 pioneering solutions during the HIEx Convergence Marketplace which coincides with the World Health Assembly in Geneva on May 29.
Application deadline: February 29, 2024 - CRDF Global is accepting proposals from Centers for AIDS Research (CFARs) to
support early-stage investigators from India working in the field of HIV/AIDS research.
Note: Applications should come from CFARs and identify at least one Indian fellowship candidate. Applications from individuals will not be accepted.

Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program is now accepting projcet requests and scholarship applications. The program is for African institutions in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and member institutions of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) and partner universities with the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) to host an African-born scholar to work on projects in research collaboration, graduate student teaching/mentoring and curriculum co-development.
Application deadline: March 4, 2024 - The Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise of IAS – the International AIDS Society has opened applications are open for the 2024 HIV Vaccine Science Academy. The academy awards fellowships to 15 early- to mid-career investigators and clinical scientists to take part in workshops on HIV vaccine research with international experts. The academy will take place in Rwanda, May 7-9, 2024. Selected participants will receive full travel support.
Application deadline: March 13, 2024 - The Multimorbidity in Africa: Digital Innovation, Visualization, and Application (MADIVA) research hub is seeking to seed one pilot project to develop research applicants to inform individual and public health challenges in Africa through data science.
Application deadline: March 13, 2024 - The Donald Krogstad Award for Early-Career Malian Scientists will provide funding of $25,000 US total for up to two years for scientists from Mali to pursue research in tropical medicine and/or public health with the goal of improving the lives of Malians. Available only to citizens of Mali currently living and working in Mali.

Global Health Corps U.S. Fellowship application is now open. The GHC Fellowship in the U.S. identifies diverse, high-potential, emerging public health leaders and provides them with the leadership training, coaching, network, and resources to excel in their careers and advance health equity.

Implementation Science Research Grant program. Applicants should be eary-career researchers who are nationals of a low- or middle-income country in Africa.

joint call to promote transdisciplinary approach to research on how mobility and health are interlinked, influencing the general health, various health determinants and the well-being of local and mobile populations, and how the effects of mobility could be addressed in a sustainable way.
