• The In vitro Disease Modeling: Type I Diabetes-on-a-Chip Platforms for Translational Research funding opportunity aims to support accelerated translation and regulatory pathways of disease-modifying and islet cell replacement therapies for type 1 diabetes by prioritizing the use of validated and standardized organ-on-chip systems and other New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). The goal is also to encourage broader regulatory initiatives to shift from animal-based testing toward human-relevant, high-content preclinical models. Applications may be submitted by domestic and foreign organizations.

• The 2026 Next Generation Travel Award from the Hydrocephalus Association supports early-career hydrocephalus researchers worldwide to attend the 2026 National Conference on Hydrocephalus, HA CONNECT. • The Grants in Aid of Research from the Sigma Xi scientific research honor society supports undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in degree seeking programs worldwide.
