Project Description

This project will transform Mozambique’s health education system by substantially extending professional education in the health sciences beyond Mozambique’s capital, Maputo. To this end, this project will partner with emerging universities operating in the Central and Northern regions of Mozambique using multidisciplinary approaches geared to physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team.

All awards through the Health-Professional Education Partnership Initiative (HEPI) are supported by the U.S. Department of State's Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy, which leads, manages and oversees the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
