Project Description

This project aims to improve the quality of health profession educators; strengthen the research capacity of health professionals and health education institutions in Malawi; foster inter-professional education and research among healthcare workers through community-based district learning platforms in order to meet the challenges posed by the double burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases including HIV.

All awards through the Health-Professional Education Partnership Initiative (HEPI) are supported by the U.S. Department of State's Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy, which leads, manages and oversees the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
