Framework Programs for Global Health Signature Innovations Initiative
The Framework Programs for Global Health Signature Innovations Initiative provides short-term support to U.S. universities and their partners to create infrastructure, resources, and opportunities for training postdoctoral investigators to carry out innovative, multidisciplinary team research in Global Health. The initiative emphasizes hands on, problem solving, and collaborative approaches and may require the development of new training models and new partnerships within and outside the university.
This opportunity is consistent with the goals of the Fogarty Strategic Plan to support and facilitate global health research in both communicable and non-communicable diseases, build partnerships between health research institutions in the U.S. and abroad, and train the next generation of scientists to address global health needs. It also retains the signature features of Fogarty's Framework Programs for Global Health Program while addressing a gap in the scope of these projects.
