First Lady Michelle Obama visits Fogarty grantee in Botswana

July / August 2011 | Volume 10, Issue 4

During a June visit to Africa, First Lady Michelle Obama on Friday wielded a brush to help paint a mural at the Botswana-Baylor Children's Clinical Center of Excellence in the capital city of Gaborone, the site of a Fogarty AIDS International Training and Research Program (AITRP) grant. The clinic serves 4,000 children and their families who have been affected by HIV/AIDS.
